COOKIES

Cookie Policy

In accordance with the provisions of the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter, the 'AUTHORITY') of 8 May 2014, which sets forth simplified procedures for disclosing information and obtaining consent for the use of cookies (hereinafter, the "COOKIE PROVISION”), Thun S.p.A., with registered office in Bolzano, via Galvani n. 29, tax code, VAT number and Bolzano Trade and Companies Register no. 00833770217 ('Thun S.p.A.'), as Joint Data controllers (hereinafter referred to jointly as the 'JOINT DATA CONTROLLERS'), intend to provide you with the following information. This document forms an integral part of the information on the processing of personal data, which can be consulted at the following link Privacy.
The Website  www.teddyfriends.com (hereafter referred to as the "WEBSITE”) uses cookies in order to improve your browsing experience.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small strings of text that websites visited by you send to your devices (usually the browser), where they are stored and then resent to those websites when you next visits the Website.
Cookies must be enabled to order products on the Website. If you do not wish to accept cookies, you can still browse the Website and use it for search purposes. In most browsers, cookies are enabled; the information below explains how to change cookie settings for each browser.
It must be noted that when browsing the Internet, you may receive two types of cookie:
(i) cookies from the same Website visited by you (first party cookies); and/or
(ii) cookies from other Websites or web servers (third party cookies).

Cookies can also be further distinguished based on what they are used for: some allow for a better browsing experience by storing the choices you make regarding specific settings (technical cookies), and others allow your browsing habits to be monitored for the purpose of sending advertisements and/or offering services that match your preferences (profiling cookies). Cookies are able to perform several functions, such as allowing you to navigate between pages efficiently and remembering your preferences, and can generally improve your visit to the website. Cookies do not harm your device. Cookies generated by the Website do not store personal data, such as credit card details. Rather, this information is encrypted and collected by the cookies to improve your site visit and browsing experience. For example, they are useful for identifying and resolving issues, or for selecting relevant products to display to you during your Website browsing session.

First Party Cookies

The Website uses the following types of first-party technical cookies; their installation does not require your consent, but the Joint Data Controllers are obliged to provide adequate information about them:
(a) Browsing or session cookies: essential for allowing you to routinely move around our Website and properly use its services; as they are not stored on the user's computer, they disappear when the browser is closed;
Functionality cookies: solely aimed at improving and speeding up browsing on the Website by storing certain choices that you make (such as language preferences). They are therefore tools used by the Joint Data Controllers to ensure, amongst other things, efficient browsing, session stability, staying logged in throughout the session and the browsing country selected.

They are also used to store the choices made by you with regard to displaying certain elements of the page, such as informative and communication banners.
In accordance with current regulations, the use of technical cookies and their processing does not require your prior consent. In any event, you may still block the installation of technical cookies at any time via the browser settings; however, please note that such a choice could complicate, slow down and sometimes block the ability to browse the Website.
Thun S.p.A. shall act as Joint Data Controllers exclusively regarding first party cookies installed on the Website..

Third-party Cookies

As you browse our Website, some cookies that are not directly controlled and managed by the Joint Data Controllers may be stored on your device. This is the case, for example, when you visit a page that includes contents of a third-party website. In this regard, please note that  Thun S.p.A do not play any role in the processing of data arising from this type of cookie, and these cookies are merely technical intermediaries.
Third-party cookies are used to display personalised advertisements on the Website and other websites, and are based on each user's browsing activities. This type of cookie may also be used by third parties to display their products and services on the Website. The Website also uses some types of analytical cookies, through which the following information, as an example, is collected:
(a) number of visitors, page views and browsing within the Website;
(b) effectiveness of acquisition campaigns based on the source of web traffic;
(c) details of products displayed and downloaded on the Website.

In addition to the purposes for which they are used externally to the Website, these cookies are the direct and exclusive responsibility of the third party that installs them on your device, and are used to display advertisements based on your interests (this is also the case of third-party cookies for marketing/retargeting). If you do not wish to receive third-party cookies on their device, you can, at any time, access the information and consent forms of the third parties via the links below and choose not to receive them. The following table lists all the cookies on the Website, with information about their specific features and, for third-party cookies, links to their respective privacy policies, so that you are able to consciously decide whether to consent to their use and which cookies to block or delete.
